You will hear many photographers talk about golden hour light because it is so warm and sunsets are beautiful! But when you know how to use it, the MORNING light is AMAZING! I'm always happy to climb out of bed extra early to greet the morning with a photo shoot!!

Beautiful light

Morning light is bright and cheerful. I love it! It is a cooler than evening light, creating soft and vivid colors. This makes morning light very flattering for portraits!

Happy children

Young children do great at morning family sessions! In the morning, kids are fresh and are excited to start their day by playing with mom and dad in a beautiful location! And best of all, you won't have to push back bedtime.

A great start to your weekend!

After morning family photos, you will be home by 10 am and still have all day to go about your weekend plans! Headed to the zoo or the pool? Summer in Portland, Oregon is full of fun activities you don't want to miss! Plus, you will show up "photoshoot ready" for the day.
