Elizabeth is the owner of Elizabeth Hite Photography capturing bright, heartfelt moments that feel like you. Carlos, our lead family photographer makes every session feel easy and enjoyable, keeping kids of all ages engaged and having fun while capturing beautiful, candid moments. From baby milestones in the studio to dreamy seasonal minis like cherry blossoms and Christmas tree farms, we’re all about the snuggles, giggles, and everyday magic of family life!

Hi friends, I’m Elizabeth, a natural light newborn and family photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I help busy families press the pause button on this beautiful and messy thing we call life; to document joy, connection, and laughter in everyday moments and milestones. We might be the perfect fit if you love natural, timeless, and lighthearted family photos with a relaxed and easy session experience.
I have a background in early childhood education and social work, so I love working with families and children. My favorite part of my job is getting to know my wonderful clients and watching families grow over the years! I believe family is everything, babies are naturally beautiful, and life with little ones is an adventure worth celebrating!
I am also a wife and toddler mama! I am thankful every day that I can serve families through photography while raising my sweet baby girl!

Lead Family Mini Session Associate Photographer: Carlos
Carlos is my lead associate photographer for family mini sessions and is crazy talented! Carlos is a master at putting people at ease so their true personalities shine, kids and dads included! Did you know that he’s photographed MANY big-name Hollywood stars? Yep, yep! He’s a very humble guy, so he won’t tell you that, but I can!
Carlos and his family recently relocated from California, and Pacific Northeast has stolen their hearts! He and his wife live on a local farm and raise baby doll sheep and chickens along with their three adorable children.
When you book family session with Carlos, you’ll get the same warm, friendly family photo shoot that you would with me. I’ll be in close contact with you before and after the session, working behind the scenes to edit your gallery and deliver each hand-picked image in my signature style.
