Bend Oregon Bachelorette Party Guide: Where to Stay, Eat & Celebrate
Helen: Bride to Be | Destination Bachelorette Party in Bend, Oregon
As matron of honor, I planned a relaxing summer bachelorette party for my cousin Helen in beautiful Central Oregon. Of course I had to bring along my camera to document the fun! As a a professional Portland newborn and family photographer, I don’t usually photograph bachelorette parties, but this was super fun!
Where to Stay for a Bend Bachelorette Party
We stayed at Seventh Mountain Resort, which ended up being perfect for a group.
Multiple pools (including a saltwater pool)
Cabana areas for relaxing
Close to both downtown Bend and outdoor activities
For bachelorette groups, look for places with pools + enough space to hang out together. Bend fills up quickly in summer, so book early.
While a few bridesmaids kept Helen occupied with a cocktail to start the weekend, the others decorated her room! After surprising the bride with her fully decorated room, we headed out for a late night bite at Spork, a delicious Asian-Mexican fusion street food style restaurant.
Brunch and Pool Time
On Saturday morning we started out with a bachelorette brunch in our room with yogurt parfaits, pastries, fresh Oregon fruit, and lemonade mimosas! Then most of the day was spent visiting and relaxing at the pools. The Seventh Mountain Resort has three pools, including a saltwater pool and beautiful shaded cabañas.
Our Night Out In Downtown Bend
The bride, our guest of honor, is a foodie so we enjoyed a delicious night out at Citizen Bar and Kitchen, which offers an international cuisine with a Pacific Northwest twist. While in downtown Bend, we encountered three other bachelorette parties all wearing our dress code: bride in white, bridesmaids in black!
Farewell Brunch at The McKay Cottage
Before heading home the next morning we finished our weekend trip with an amazing brunch at McKay Cottage Restaurant. We especially loved their crepes!
I can't wait to celebrate Helen and Anthony's wedding this August! As her matron of honor, I will be in front of the lens instead of behind it. But she will be in great hands with the amazing Sierra Rose Photography!
